Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is an extremely gentle massage that increases the efficiency of the Lymphatic System. It is proven to be an effective treatment for pre and post-operative cosmetic surgery.

MLD is recommended pre and post-operative cosmetic surgery. Usually, 1 session of MLD is done pre-operative to prepare the tissue for the trauma of surgery.

 

Post-operative MLD can begin as soon as 24 hours after surgery. Depending on each individual 3-6 sessions* are usually enough to assist in the healing process, relieve discomfort from swelling and speed the healing of bruises. If a more aggressive regimen is desired, 12 sessions, closer together, is recommended.​ *MLD packages available
